I have been telling EVERYONE about these clips!! I gave a few to friends. Incidentally, one of them was run over in my work’s parking lot. While it was misshapen, it was not broken. After putting in hot water and putting it on something round to reshape it, IT CAME BACK!! I’ll never buy another brand again!

Shipping took some time, but that was too be expected as it shipped from Korea to California. The tracking information was accurate along the way.

I am absolutely stunned with these. I have super thick curly hair and this is the only clip i’ve ever had that doesn’t fall. i wore it from 8:30 am to 10 pm and it didn’t even MOVE. I work in a medical office and have put everyone on for these and they know my hair is a beast. I have never been able to successfully wear hair clips until Mello, i love them so much.

I never write reviews for products, but I need to share how this clip exceeded all of my expectations. While I was hesitant of the cost, I can now confidently say that it was worth every penny!

I am somebody who has fine hair and claw clips and never stay. This clip has stayed in my hair all morning, even through an HIIT workout! When I laid on my back to do chest presses, the clip was comfortable and did not dig into my head. I did not have to adjust it at all, even after running and jumping.

My favorite part is that I feel safe leaving the clip in while I drive. Since the clip is so flexible, there isn’t the worry of it shattering in your head if you were rear ended. I can place my clip when I leave the house in the morning and it stays put until I want to take it out! No more scrambling in the car to put my hair back up once I arrived at my destination!

I love mello! The customer service is amazing! One of my clips had broken due to a manufacturing defect since I had one of the OG starter charm clips, but they didnt just send me 1 replacement clip.... they gave me 2!! One charm and one cloud. It was my birthday, too, so it made me feel really special that Mello gave me a 50$ worth of product just because of my clip that sadly broke. I got a 6 pack of Jumbo clips and received a free regular clip as a mystery gift.

2 family members and I are trying them out and we like them! My mom has bra strap length and fine hair and the medium works well for her. The other 2 of us have waist/thick and hip/normal hair. I love that the jumbo is actually long enough for my hair. I'd never gotten the cute claw clip style to work before now since the clips were too short or the teeth weren't big enough.

The mello clip is more comfortable than other clips in that it doesn't pull on the scalp. I find it holds well for whatever hair is inside the teeth, but since it doesn't grab the scalp, it sags a bit in my silky hair, especially for activities. I generally have a hard time getting updos to stay up, whether ponytails, buns, or other updos, so I wasn't surprised by this. For low-impact activities like walking, working at a desk, or lounging, the clip stays in position well and is comfortable to wear.

Recently I started getting a sensitive scalp from wearing my hair tightly pulled up for so long (probably years). The mello clip is comfortable to wear for a few hours but I do notice some scalp soreness if I wear it all day. If you don't have a sensitive scalp or very long hair, then this is probably a non-issue.

Lastly, regarding wearing the mello clip in the car, it is comfortable on the scalp to wear in the car, but I think wearing my hair up on the back of my head puts my head in a weird position. I don't like my neck so far forward when driving. And I'm still uncomfortable wearing a clip in the car for safety reasons. Yes, the teeth are less likely to stab my skull because of the material, but without independent safety testing, I could still see the metal spring being a hazard. Some of Mello's marketing makes it appear that the clip is safe to wear in the car, so I wanted to mention this point.

Overall, I really do like the clip. I find it more comfortable than other claw clips, but don't wear mine every day due to having a very sensitive scalp. It holds well for low-impact activities and I appreciate the jumbo sizing. At the price point, it is expensive for a hair accessory, but if it lasts and doesn't need replacing, then it would be worth the cost. Time will tell how the spring holds up!

I bought 12 of the matcha clips for my bachelorette goodie bags. Luckily, I was able to mix and match sizes because not everyone that attended has the same amount of hair. Everyone loves how comfortable yet secure they are!
They’re so comfortable, I even fell asleep with it on.
I use the jumbo if i want to put all my hair up and the classic for a half up/half down. I’m definitely going to buy more colors :)

We love the mellow hair clips. They are amazing. I use them all the time I decided to order more as gifts for Christmas and birthdays, and of course myself. So funny initially my husband got these for me last Christmas and I don’t know what I would do without them.

I've wanted these clips since they first came out, but it seemed like too much of a luxury for clips, but clips from the store torture my scralp. I woah is made the jump sooner.they feel so light and there's no pain at all while wearing them, and driving is with them is great too. HUGE improvement for me and for my hair so it won't break anymore.
